Students at Folkestone Academy have again been celebrating excellent results in their Post 16 Qualifications that will see 100 students continue their studies at university.

Under the newly reformed tougher examinations, the academy has seen an increase in the number of students achieving the top grades, with 63% of students achieving A* - C (compared to 56% in 2017) and 30% of students achieving A* - B (compared to 25% last year).

The hard work and dedication that the students have put in means that 100 students are now taking up places at either university or higher level Apprenticeships. Degree subjects our students will be starting in September include; Mathematics, Audio Engineering, Accounting, Law, Mental Health Nursing, Criminology and Psychology, Primary Education and Paramedic Science
