Think Forward’s breakthrough programme coaches young people from age 13 to 18 to succeed in education and progress into sustained employment.

Coaches build trusted relationships, helping young people to take control of their own lives and set goals for their futures, while overcoming challenges at home, in the community and at school. Complimenting the one-to-one coaching and group work, young people are also linked to targeted 'Ready for Work' activities such as our business mentoring programme to build their life skills and aspirations in order to gain and sustain employment.

David Fretton

My name is David Fretton, Think Forward Progression Coach at The Folkestone Academy. I look forward to working with a carefully selected group of young people on the Think Forward programme. I will listen to, motivate and inspire our young people to overcome the challenges holding them back at school; encouraging them to tap into their skills and passions so that they can become the leaders of tomorrow.

I look forward to getting to know some of you in the coming weeks.
